The Mountain Makerspace is a group of High Country folks based in Boone, NC. We are working to establish a collaborative community where people can come together to connect, create, learn, and share.

Phase one (our current phase) of the Mountain Makerspace initiative is the creation of a tool library. Tools are essential to problem solving and creative expression, but it can be hard to know where to begin. The Mountain Makerspace tool library includes training and access to a large variety of tools. It is a valuable asset for members looking to maintain their personal property, develop timeless skills, and/or enrich their capacity for creative expression, empowering members in all aspects of their lives.
